Hello Gorgeous [disciples]

This past month has been a blur of non-stop activity as we prepare for the “Postcards From Berlin” album launch party and live show on May 2nd. Between programming the backing tracks and rehearsing the new band, I’ve also written, directed and produced 9 new short films, one for each song, to use as projections during the show. Each features myself and the delicious Trisha Kay as we evoke the emotions and sentiments of each particular track. I think its going to add a whole new layer to the show and I’m eve thinking of releasing it as a “video album” called “Passion”. We will see. The band is awesome, featuring Bryan Stage and Justin Paul of mysatellite and a new guest vocalist in Sabrina Chang.

Anyway, I’m thrilled to be playing at the awesome Complex club in Glendale as that’s where we did the IAMX residency last fall and had a blast doing so. John, Mike and the whole staff are true music lovers and have built a superb venue, recently rated as LA’s #1 underground club.

We just spent a very long but incredibly rewarding birthday Sunday filming the new [debut] video for “More Than This”. Trespassing, permit dodging and such is the life for zero budget, indie music videos these days it seems! Jail and fines were avoided though and we all made it out in one piece. Huge thanks to the team ….. Justin (DP), Bryan and Frank (Band), Trisha (model) and Denni (valued assistant). Plan is to edit it up and get it out to you all as soon as possible. Until then, here’s a still from the day for you. Don’t forget, “Postcards From Berlin” is released this Thursday March 5th. My advice is … buy it :) Gx
